Another trip to Margate old town to see my friend Deborah Ellis also known as Madam Popoff - Margate's very own queen of vintage clothing.
These shoots are always fun and I am guaranteed some nice shots. Deborah is great at styling and of course selecting models. On this occasion I was lucky enough to work again with Ellé-Louise Payne.
It is nice as a photographer to be able to take a little time to experiment and do things a little differently. On this occasion I dumped my trusty work-horse zooms and just used Nikon primes, mostly the 35 and 85 but I also used my newly acquired 180 F2.8
In our wedding photography we offer a package that includes some video. I am looking at ways to improve the production value of the footage and improve the quality to our customers. This was a little experiment using the Sony RX100V and the Zhiyun Crane M. As a linking sequence in a wedding video it is very simple to do and in my opinion works quite well.
